If Jesus came back as republican, I would not vote for him, but then he
would never come back as a republican so I guess that is not a problem. This is what I told the unfortunate man who came to my door to ask me to vote for him as county commissioner for my precinct. But he said, there is not Democrat running so you will not get a choice. Too bad he didn't read the paper and see that I am the DEMOCRATIC precinct chair. Some people just do not have a clue.

1. Well Jesus may actually have been a Republican in thought...
... no one actually saw him walk on water except the twelve apostles, but they claimed it was true and Jesus never denied it or affirmed it. That sounds like something a Republican would do. Oh and then there's the thing Jesus did with the seven fishes and five loaves of bread. The bible says he fed a multitude (I'm guessing that would be in the 1,000's of people) with it, until everyone had their fill and he sent out his apostles to gather up the leftovers (boy that's a Republican action if I ever saw one) and they filled a number of baskets full. Jesus again doesn't avoid taking credit that this surplus came from thin area and the "tax refunds" he provided from the original seven fishes and five loaves of bread stimulated that burst of economic stimulation. Boy, that's about as Republican a claim as I've ever heard. Those poor bastards in the crowd who had brought extra food and were sharing with others, got no credit what so ever, but that's where the surplus bread and fishes came from. Just like a Republican, takes all the credit and pretends that no one else's contributions counted. Yep, Jesus could very well have been a Republican in that sense, except for one small thing. Jesus gave us an eleventh commandment which was "Love one another". honnnnnk, Republicans can't stomach that one. They had to modify it to "love one another as long as they are like us". So they demonize everyone else. "You are either with me or against me" commanded Dubya. Oh well. :+
