Told a friend of mine tonight (big time wealthy Bush supporter) exactly where I stand in this election: No more mealy-mouthed, you have a point, DNC, Hannity is just a commentator, yes we support the president, but. . . Tom Daschle apologies. I told him we are in your face this time, and you better suck it up and be ready for it, because we are going to do everything in our power to save and reclaim this country, dammit. He bought me a beer, and respected that (no surprise, basically a decent guy). No more 2002s. Let's take these clowns on! Have you done the same?

1. Did you mean 2000 instead of 2002?
I thought in 2002 we fought very hard and were sure of victory.

3. I love your screen name!
I am getting the sense that people are ready for a fight this time, and the energy people have for getting rid of monkey boy is almost intoxicating! It gives me hope that we might finally be able to get rid of this evil administration after all.

I have never seen so much fervor over a political race before. I live in NYC, so maybe that's just a regional phenomenon, but I would like to know if anyone else has observed this kind of grassroots vigor for ABB in 2004.

5. Why, thank you! Which way did he go? He went for Faygo.
OK, yeah, a Baby Boomer (old around here, I know). I am just spoiling for a fight. I want the worst and most dangerous president in U.S. history ousted. This is my country too, dammit, and they won't take it from me without every effort on my part.

4. Nope. 2002. We "won" in 2000; rolled over in 2002.
Worst election I can remember (I remember back to 1960). Almost all the Dems just rolled over and took it from the GOP, and ran as, "Oh yes, we support the president more than the Republicans." Harry Truman had it right: You give the voters a choice between a Republican and a Democrat acting like a Republican, and they will take the Republican every time.

7. you must be kidding....
In 2002 the Democratic Party stood in open, public awe of the emperor's splendid new clothes.

2. I will conceed no points to the other side
I don't care what the facts are, I will never, never, never conceed any points to the other side, and I will NEVER criticize the Democratic presidential nominee. I will not provide soundbites for the other side.
