March 20 has to be as big as Feb 15, 2003
Edited on Fri Mar-05-04 03:04 AM by anarchy1999
This is a global event.

Everyone, everywhere has to be involved. It is one more chance for us to have our voices be heard round the world. This is really our last chance.

None of us can afford to be silent or we will be complicit in our silence.

STAND UP AND BE HEARD!

5. I would LOVE to be part of this march.......I am disabled and live
too far from events. If I had a wheelchair I could probably find someone around here who would be willing to help me and who is driving to a march--I think theres one in San Francisco?
I WANT TO BE INVOLVED DAMNIT!!:cry:

You can be a part of the protest. Do not cry, do not be mad, just be there, and make your voice be loud. We hear our VETS!

19. If you really want to go...
the Bay Area DUers will be out in full force at the SF march. Where do you live? There is always a way to get you a chair, and I know there would be folks willing to help you during the march/rally.

How is Law School? I hope all is well with you. :hi: How was your caucus? I decided to become a delagate for my ward. I have never been one before, so I am quite excited. Since I'm from the 'commie' ;-) ward, DK won by a landslide.

16. Is there something scheduled in the Twin Cities?
It'll be the first day of my spring break - so I might actually be able to set foot outside the law library for the first time in a long time that day.

10. Kicking up for the morning crowd.
Please everyone here at DU, help to make this be as significant as Feb 15 last year. If there is not an event scheduled near to you, take the reins and make it happen in your community. All that are able please come join us in Crawford, Texas. GW's backyard pigpen.

12. I'm hoping and expecting to see a big turnout in Toronto.
It was an outrage then, and a year later - no weapons and no reason, yet the occupation continues and permanent bases are constructed - it's an even greater one.

15. This has to be kept top, front and center.
Everyone here, we have to be out and on the street on Saturday, March 20, 2004. All of us here. Walk away from your computer. If nothing else print out 10 pages of links and information and go sit at your favorite restaurant or watering hole and pass the info out. Go, get out. Commit to just a couple of hours of speaking out and being heard.

We don't have any time left.

20. Just a thought - How about a forum just for this event?
n/t

I know how busy you all are, but what do you all think?

Two weeks away.

We need to make this be big everywhere. We will not be relegated to a "focus group" and we will let the rest of the world know we are here.

Look at UFPJ's website for further details.
