8. Maybe. We'll see if the GOP FOG's get the attention and

the guilty verdicts that Martha, a Democratic woman, did. It's not really about Bush, it's about corruption in the system, among Repugs in particular.

A stockbroker I know said 1) Martha broke the law but 2) what she did is something that is very widely done, as in "everybody does it."

A lot of people hate Martha and resent her success while admiring men like Donald Trump.

As a woman, I've always thought there was a lot of cattiness aimed at Martha, rather than admiration for working her way up to great success and wealth. She has good products (her show and magazine) but I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard a woman say, "Well, she doesn't do all that herself, and she's not nice to her employees." (Wow, there's a news flash -- people with TV shows and or magazines have people working for them, don't do all the work themselves. And a boss who's not Miss Congenialty? What a shock!)
