I Credit DU
I drive back and forth every day to Cincinnati, Ohio to go to work with my DemocraticUnderground sticker proudly displayed on my rear bumper - and after two years plus I am now seeing scathing letters to the editor re/Bush - its as if Cincinnati has woke up from its staunchly conservative slumber. I can't help but think these letter writers have been turned on to DU. Bumper stickers can be very powerful tools to educate - and that was exactly my goal.

I use to have a Re-Elect Gore 2004 sticker but took it off after 9/11 and people had the audacity to leave notes on my car. But no notes with this sticker - and I think there are many Democrats still that doesn't know DU exists. Just food for thought. Sometimes one great idea and one person can really make a difference. I'm shocked at the anger displayed in the letters and the fact that the Cincinnati Enquirer even prints them - means they must be getting plenty. I have not seen a positive letter about Bush* in many, many weeks. If Cincinnati has turned against Bush* - there is truly hope for America.

1. You cover the southwest part of the state--I've got the middle!
The black and white looks rather striking on my red van.

And there is even a rumor going around that the Columbus Dispatch might back a Democrat for president for the first time in about 80 years...shhh!

7. Need a bumper sticker, make a donation to DU

I believe they send out a DU bumper sticker to anyone who makes a donation to DU (doesn't have to be very much, but donate what you can afford).

4. I'm near Cleveland, which is
already staunch Dem territory (and they've paid for that by being ignored by the state legislature for years). I gotta hand it to ya, I don't think I could stand living in Cincinnati.

Remember, though, that Gore actually did very well in Hamilton County (Cincinnati) in 2000, which really surprised everyone. Bush didn't do nearly as well there as everyone just naturally assumed he would.

5. Yep - and that is why I have a great love for
Cleveland - one of my most favorite towns. However, Cincinnati has a lot of very RICH Republicans - Carl Lindner and various others who give a TON of money to Bush* and other Republicans - and we've got the misfortune of having Rob Portman....

9. I'm in Silicon Valley
Heavy defense industry. Lots of rich conservatives. Got my DU sticker on the car. So far, no revolution here -- but it's fun dreaming!

10. My DU sticker is getting worn
I've got new ones to put on, but, I like my old worn sticker, it looks like a battle scar. Then the weather is getting warm enough for me to wear my DU tshirt.
I've got good responses here to my shirt, and from the comments sent to the local paper there are some lurkers from here expressing themselves, sometimes it's like reading posts here.
