Laura Ingrahm sounded desperate this morning
I listened to her while driving to work and it wasn't all unpleasant because it sounded like she was really fishing to come up with something to boost Bush's numbers.

She was bashing Leslie Stahl's 60 minutes interview with the Iraqi (I forget his name) who says there still are WMDs that haven't been found.

Ingrahm was going back to Clinton and Sandy Berger saying they wanted regime change in Iraq also.

She had the nerve to talk about liberal bias in the media. Isn't she part of the media?

She was bashing Kerry's statement that he wanted to be the 2nd Black President.

She even bashed a caller who was a repub that did not think Bush was playing to his base.

All of this seemed so futile when she told her listeners to not panic because Kerry's numbers were better than Bush's

If this keeps up it may be fun to listen to the wing nut radio and hear them try to fix Bush's fall from grace.

1. Glug, glug...
According to David Brock's book, Ingraham has a little problem with the bottle.

4. reply
Coulter is a chain smoker who drinks a lot, but is perhaps just short of being an alcoholic (according to Brock), and I remember him also saying that she was prone to using a lot of anti-Semetic rantings as well.

Ingraham was said to be a big drinker. Brock recalls an incident at a nightclub where she was so drunk she was lying on the floor ranting something about how she didn't really believe all the stuff she said on the radio and TV.

There are other juicy stories about Armstrong Williams and Matt Drudge.

2. did she talk about how rich Kerry is?
I read a David Brooks column playing up this pathetic angle, and Brooks is always a good harbinger of the talking points all these people will follow.

7. Hey, Cocoa, the Daily Howler has a good commentary on Brooks' most recent
attempt at painting Kerry (and past Dem nominees; not that Kerry is ours yet...) a blueblood compared to *...

SPINNING KERRY (PART 1)! When David Brooks spun Kerry’s dough, he offered a piece of—gulp!—fiction:

5. Mary Matlin ....
I've been tuning into Imus the last few mornings, having heard he is now against bush and supporting Kerry. Yesterday, Mary Matlin was on the phone and she hopped all over Imus for saying that cheney is a liar. Imus seemed to not be able to refute what she said, at all.

Is he usually so tongue-tied, when under attack? ... or is he already wavering?

6. Is Imus really against Bush?
I'm not sure if he is really for Kerry? I sometimes think he's being sarcastic when he says he's a Kerry man.

8. Imus against Bush???
This is the same old game that Imus played when he said he supported John McCain's campaign against Bush. His radio sidekicks attack Kerry and proclaim the wonders of Georgie while Imus vows undying support for Kerry ...at least until a few weeks til the election. Not once did he come to the aid of John McCain when Georgie and his thugs slandered McCain and his entire family.
