What Does "BBV" Mean

It seems to be just another of the many undefined and annoying acronyms that are used here constantly. Am I old fashioned in requireing that the language be used?

It's Bev Harris's website: http://www.blackboxvoting.com where she works tirelessly on the whole e-voting debacle.

BBV has become shorthand around here for that topic and anthing related to it.

6. Not DU - Credit AmyStrange (Dave) for that Glossary.

He compiled while a member of DU after seeing such threads as this, but it's his creation and not "DU's". Not meaning to come off terse, but Dave's been treated like crap by many here during the last 8 months or so, and I think he deserves far, far better (not that you have had any hand in that).

Anyway, thanks for posting that... Dave did an amazing piece of work and helped us all out tremendously with his efforts. :hi:

5. Yes, you are old-fashioned

We have been over these issues a thousand times and so we use shorthand. We're happy to fill you in, if you ask, and most often context will clue you in anyway. But no, nobody is going to change their communication style at DU because you are annoyed.
