Poll question: LGBT DUers only What is the most important federal LGBT issue ?

Please only LGBT responses. I would like some honest idea where LGBT DUers stand on this.

1. Have to start somewhere

Civil rights is as good a place as any.

2. you forgot survivorship for SS and federal pensions

3. I would count those under the rights that same sex relationships

would give. But they might merit a seperate line.

4. This is different in different areas

I lived in Utah for a time and if I posted on this then I would have said basic civil rights.

However, now I live on CA and we have basic civil rights here. So at this time I would say Marriage.

It really depends where you live these days. However, marriage would cover a lot of the basic civil rights because of laws on the books banning discrimination based on marital status.
