Howard Stern and The Burning Bush

As many of you know, Howard is awake, and is waking up a good portion of his listeners. On today's show, he spoke with NY Congressman, Jose Serrano, making plans to go to Washington with Serrano to find some answers. He is also talking about a Million Moron March in Washington.

The assault against Stern is just the latest battle in the moral crusade against indecency over the airwaves since the Janet Jackson breast episode at the Super Bowl.

Jackson may have been trying to jump start her career. But her stunt has been like a shot of Viagra for the heretofore dormant religious conservatives, Bush's Right flank.

The Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts and the economy aren't winning issues for Bush. But a manufactured culture war about how raunchy America is has become a hot button.

But this is really a story about the indecency of big money and big politics.

"That's how the whole thing started," Stern said. "I mistakenly opened my mouth about my political views that didn't agree with the president of Clear Channel."

1. I support Stern...

...I've said this before and I'll say it again: I understand why some aspects of Sterns' show are offensive to some. He tends to wear his adolescent sexuality on his sleeve. Among other "sins." Frankly, my wife can't stand him---or what she's heard and seen of him, which is not that much. I'm okay with that. Her points are all well taken by me. But in many ways, Stern is a prime advocate of free speech in America today. And as such, his ability to broadcast should be supported and defended, in my opinion.

4. Hmm seems kids know what

I remember the awful blood dripping dirge like hymns in my parent's church,the terror tales of blood-n-guts devil gonna getcha horrorstories and the culture is in a handbasket to hell babblings on....It was the stuff of nightmares.
I remember I HATED thier church enough to get myself kicked out of my parent's church when I was a kid.


One thing people tend to overlook...
When a church or church leader really loves violence, the members of that church do not see the violence in thier bible,tracts,propaganda and sermons as violence anymore.They have justified(excused) it in thier own minds as OK or rightious.But those outside the"church culture" do see the insane violence and hypocrasy of the church and the bible and rightfully hate it and hate the church's intrusions into thier lives.

Churches that preach biblical violence can almost sound like a rapist who says "she wanted it"when he gets caught by police when they excuse thier blood soaking verbally abusive indulgences. When these Fundamentalists get called on it they excuse themselves with sanctimonious cries claiming they were moved by thier god's bloody bullying hands when in reality it is only thier own corrupt,control seeking,bully heart that's wrapped up in the bible being a controlling asshole to others..

Spiritul fruits are not authoritarian personality disorders,sadism, hypocrasy or bullies.They are not witch burnings,abortion bombers,or laws about breasts.

Churches get away with thier habitual sociopathicness because society has been taught to excuse real life violence because of what thier holy book excuses.People mix sociopathic behavior with the bible and use the bible to excuse bad behavior as if bad behavior in the name of god is sacrosanct.The bible incidentally contains alot of sexually perverse things too.The Bible itself is pornographic,sadistic,contrary, perverse and violent and it says the christian god is that way too..But this problem with the bible,and the faults in interpreting it through the eyes of sociopaths does not give the likes of Fallwell an excuse to be a hateful bigoted asshole and to stir up mental illnesses in his followers does it?


It is hard to see this fact about the christian"god" and the corrupt authoritarianism in a church when you are surrounded by believers pressuring you.

It's uncanny how so many churches deny the existance of the propagandic poison emperors from Rome and preistly powermongers have put in thier own bible.They really want to think this book of thiers is untampered with or"pure".But it isn't pure it is a piece of brilliant propaganda mixed with a bit of inspiring almost anarchistic prhases and a fantasic tale. The entire bible cannot be taken literally it is impossible.And when people start making god into a vengeful bloody,angry,nit picking, control freak,hateful, sociopathic monster I can tell which parts of the bible they prefer because obviously thier spiritual fruits are as sick as thier hearts are..

Remember,fundies deny this but we all know they deliberately cherry pick and choose where and what verses to place emphasis on.So it's obvious to anyone not blinded by them they seek out the more scapegoating, controlling, hateful violent verses in the bible that serve thier psychological illnesses and authoritarian personality disorders best at the moment when they are interacting with others.

This points more at a mental illness than an understanding of spiritual things. Authoritarians and bullies with bibles have caused much pain harm and turning away from spirituality in humanity.The fundies are sick and do not understand spiritual things that's why.

Fundie litteralists Remember THIS: if thine eye offend thee(meaning your own eye) pluck it out.Take responsibility for youir own offense and blind yourself to it.The bibble sez..rip out your own eyeballs if you are offended by what you see in this world.The bible does not say set up a censor board or rip other people's eyes out.It says take responsibility for what you see..Why aren't these fundies ripping thier eyes out when thier own offended eyes spied Janet's boob? Did they forget how to mortify thier flesh? Are christians scared to take thier bible THAT literally?

Why are These christian Dominionists seeking dominion of the world? Don't they realize in thier Bible they clainm to take literally Jesus said the kingdom of christ is NOT OF THIS WORLD? Did they remember when Jesus sat in the desert for 40 days,that he RESFUSED the devil's offer to be ruler of all the kingdoms of earth? So why aren't these fundies following thier Christ's example?
Maybe because these fundies are realy just a bunch of con men,control freaks,authoritarian personalities,bullies and sociopaths by nature and are christians only for conveience because that's where the power loyalty and money is to be gathered up onto oneself the easiest?
