No Sarbanes-Oxley for YOU!! "President" not responsible for jobs forecast
Edited on Tue Mar-09-04 04:00 PM by Richardo
BUSH CONTINUES TO MISLEAD ON JOB CREATION

Last month, President Bush released a personally signed report promising that his economic plan would create 2.6 million new jobs by 2004. When data suggested that this would not be possible, he "distanced himself" from the report and "declined to endorse the jobs estimate" publicly during an Oval Office appearance.

Now, with a new jobs report showing that his economic program continues to fall short, the president has resorted to outright dishonesty.

Specifically, the president deployed Labor Secretary Elaine Chao to Capitol Hill last week to claim that he never actually signed the report. She told lawmakers the president "doesn't sign this report."

6. No, not John Kerry, it was Clinton
Everything bad in our country can be traced directly to either Bill or Hillary Clinton.

2. Oh....puhleeeeze!
IT's my report and I took credit for all the good stuff, but any bad stuff isn't my responsibility.

I swear the next time this mis-administration takes credit for something bad happening will be the first.

8. Oh, it's taken credit for a lot of bad happenings --
it just won't admit that they're bad.
