New American Research Group Poll - Kerry 50% - Bush 43%
The poll was conducted March 9-11 and shows that Kerry is up 2% and Bush is down 3% since last month. There are generally three types of poll samples: adults, registered voters, and likely voters. This is a poll of registered voters and from what I've seen in polls, * does worse with the tighter parameter (likely voters.) I know. I know. The election is still 8 months away. The good news is that I finally get to vote in the primary this Tuesday.

1. Isn't it pathetic
that so many of our fellow citizens "support" bush? 43% is outrageous with all the evidence against him and his kind. The desire to be a well informed citzenry obviously is quite weak.

2. Someone said today that 40% of the electorate doesn't know who Kerry is.
I wonder what they say when their phone rings? I truly believe that a solid 35% would vote for * even if he invaded Canada to get their beer.

3. 48-42-2 with Nader
Not too shabby.

Here's the really good news and the not-so-good news:

Bush gets 81% of Republicans but Kerry gets 11% of them. Compare this to 87% of Democrats for Kerry and only 5% for Bush.

BUT

With Nader in the race, 5% of Democrats desert Kerry for Nader. NO REPUBLICANS desert Bush. BUT 1% of independents who WOULD have voted for Bush go to Nader.

Would still prefer him gone.
