It would seem that we are in for a year long fear sale. The Republican party has always felt that fear is great commodity. This year it would seem that they are going for “Fear” in a big way. Perhaps that is all they have to sell the American people. They for sure don’t understand the concept of “hope.” Now, Reagan did give us “morning in America?” Which was coupled with “the Russians are going to get you!” In the end the message was something like, “buy more armaments or you will wake up in the morning and the Russians will be eating at your breakfast table, Good Morning America.”
Bush and Rove, plus all the minions in congress will go for a similar message this time. As a matter of fact Tom Cole of Oklahoma has been more blatant, “Bush loses, it’s a win for bin Laden.” Cole also said that it would similar to FDR' being defeated in the election during WWII; Hitler would have won. Strange, I wonder if Cole was saying that the 22,006,285 Republicans that voted for Dewey in 1944 was voting for Hitler?
My rant for the day.
