remember Smirk's recent photo op with the business women

well, smirk had cut program funds for women starting a business, making it harder for them.

But look what Kerry is trying to do for these women:

Kerry Makes Vital Changes to Small Business Programs; Legislation Mends 7(a) Loan Program, Safeguards Women's Business Centers

Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) introduced legislation that temporarily extends all Small Business Administration (SBA) programs and addresses several urgent issues critical to keeping small business programs fully functional.

"Without this bill, loans won't be made to small businesses and jobs won't be created. Without this bill, 53 women's business centers are at risk of being closed," said Kerry, ranking member of the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

The legislation, S.2186, helps restore the largest small- business loan program in the country, the SBA's 7(a) program, which was abruptly shut down by the Administration on Jan. 6 when the President's funding request came up short. The SBA reopened the program Jan. 14 with restrictions that have left many small businesses out in the cold. Since then, the Administration has offered a piecemeal proposal to fix the program and has refused to request additional funding.

"The Administration's plan is yet another budget gimmick, a non-starter. Small businesses and lenders alike have told Congress that it's not workable, and that they oppose it." Kerry said. "Small businesses cannot wait any longer. My bill takes the necessary steps to fully restore the 7(a) program without decreasing loan access or pushing lenders away. Lifting the Administration's loan cap means small businesses, our best job creators, can get back to doing what they do best."

nobody much is going to know this - a shout out needs to be done.

1. This is the kind of mocking garbage I so hate about this pig (Bush)
Just a few days before his appearance I noticed a local news item from a successful businesswoman (makes whoopie-pies featured on Ohpra). Bush is destroying the small business loans and she said that that is how she started her company or it would have never happened. She was angry that other people will never have a chance to develop their own businesses. Then I heard Bush in a speech like a day later slobber all over "small business" as the heart of the nation----lying bastard; he wents them fried and driven out by corporations. So I doubly puked when he stood infront of this group of women. I don't know if I puked because of his arrogant "I fuck them and they love it" attitude or the stupidy of those dumb broads cheering him!!!!!!!!

2. Remember how he tried to smirk his way into a MLK commemoration?
He did the wreathe thing -- and the next day appointed a judge with a deplorable civil rights record. (Sorry, can't remember the guy's name.)
