"I look forward to that debate."
Kerry, who has challenged Bush to a series of debates (which will of course be declined), should POUND on Bush and his campaign for repeatedly using this phrase, and then ducking the actual debate.

3. This would be good fodder for a campaign commercial too.

5. On second thought, forget what he said...
They'll just have Condi make the Sunday Shout Show rounds saying..."Look, it was ONLY 6 words!":eyes:

2. Bush always says that he looks forward to discussing the issues,
but he only wants to discuss them on his terms, if at all.

4. He'll never accept....
I really liked the idea that Kerry should challenge Bush to debates that are topic-specific, so that * can't go off on gay marriage and JJ's breasts as public distractions. Would allow Kerry to show that much more of how dumb * is! But we know *'ll find some reason not to accept...

6. Sounds like a beautiful design for a Kerry ad.
I hope they're reading DU, Mayberry! That would be a sweet Bush quote to use in today's ads, not to mention the late-summer ads he'll have to run to counter Bush's likely refusal to agree to more than one debate.

:-)
