But if there was abuse going on, I would hope that the public school would have caught it.

8. I'm just curious if there is a study on point
It seems to me that children of incest may be more likely to be home schooled- (notice I didn't say the reverse might be true- that home schooled children may be more likely to be have incestuous parents- completely different proposition).

The original poster's concern about kids in situations like these being kept out of the watchful eyes of school districts and pediatricians seems to me to be a valid one.

9. possibly....
I am unaware of a study specifically comparing incest to homeschooling...although to be honest, if there was such a study that found a correlation, the NEA would publicize it to no end...
