Obviously from Trumad's blog. Good list, though. Kerry should use it in an ad.

6. you are wrong, oh very very short one
First he said WMD, then he says WMD program related activities

First he says he is a man of peace, meanwhile he is sending battalions to the Gulf

First he says Saddam is related to 9/11, then, when pinned down under questioning at the UN admits there IS NO CONNECTION.

What a flip flopper!

13. WMD was part of the reason for war
regardless of whether they were found or not. The entire world believed there were WMD. Bush believed there were WMD. The UN believed there were WMD. Everyone believed there were WMD. If you think Bush lied, Why and how could Bush be the only one to know that there weren't WMD?

On one hand, many say he is a dumb president. Many of the same then go on to say he masterminded a plot to decieve the American people into thinking there were WMD. No, he just presented the evidence that existed, evidence that was already there.

I'm sorry, but Bush did not flip flop on the war. Even if there never turns out to be any WMD; if he believed they existed just as everyone else did before the war started, then he is off the hook.

KERRY was the one that supported deposing Sadaam, along with Bush. He looked at the evidence, and thought it was important to use action against Sadaam. Just like Bush. The difference? Kerry now from a distance criticizes Bush, criticizes the war, and does not support the war effort. Who flip flopped? If you want me to find the quote of Kerry supporting going into Iraq, I will. I am absolutely positive it exists.

7. He flipped flopped on the reason for attacking Iraq...
When no WMDs were found, the reason suddenly became "Liberation of the Iraqi people.

That is chimpy's flip flop on the war.

9. Kerry voted for a resolution that would first get U.N weapons inspectors
Edited on Sun Mar-14-04 11:36 AM by Redleg
back into Iraq. The use of force was expected to be the last action taken. Besides, didn't the Bush admin essentially lie to Congress to get them to support the resolution?

Musing: I wonder how long Ghengisjim will survive on DU until he/she is unmasked?

10. Hey, ghengisjim, "mission accomplished" right?
Don't make me laugh.

Why did we invade a Iraq? Flip-flop.

We know they have WMD, oops we know they have WMD programs, oops we know they have WMD related program activities, oops, we don't know shit. Flip-flop.

Kerry was never for the invasion. He foolishly believed Bush "would exhaust all diplomatic alternatives" prior to military action. Bush lied. Flip-flop.

14. Kerry WAS for the invasion
I guarentee it. When it was popular, he was for it. Don't make me go looking for the quote.

Look I am just curious what Kerry is going to say to these Flip-Flop attacks by Bush in debates. I mean, to some extent, ALL politicians flip-flop. It's just part of the game they are playing. But Kerry is notorious, and compared to Bush, he likes to test the water much more before taking a strong position on something. But he has taken a number of strong positions on things, and then blatantly switched.

Much more so than Bush. Sure, they are both guilty, but do you respond to an attack from Bush about flip-flopping in a debate by saying "But you do it too!" ?

15. I'm not trying to make you laugh.
But if you do, you must be pretty easily amused.

Flip-flopping is not the same as lying. If Bush is an evil mastermind and lied to the American public like you suppose, he must be carrying out his plan in Iraq just like he wanted.

Now, assuming he WAS lying, and he and his closest friends actually KNEW there weren't any WMD, (they alone knew this), then he has decieved us Americans and the world. Decieving is different from flip-flopping, however. And it's a lot easier to go after someone for flip-flopping when its obvious that they did it, compared to trying to suppose that Bush lied. I'm thinking in terms of a debate here... How is Kerry going to stand up to wedge politics and (fair) accusations that he has flip-flopped on important issues.

Is he going to say, but you do it too? (to a lessor extent)...?
