6. I was able to attend this event

I thought it was terrific - well worth tuning in for or taping.

Also - following this on C-SPAN2 is a recent NYC Barnes & Noble appearance by rethug John Podhoretz (sp?) wherein - according to an earlier post - he gets his ass handed to him by an irate audience member or two. Should be interesting.

7. I half caught that....

it was amusing! He just stood and stared at the guy. He looked kind of stupid. I decided to turn it off.

Actually, BookTV was being fair and balanced by presenting both sides unedited. And our side was better (neener neener).

so they had to put that dope Podhoretz on after this show.

everytime they have progressives on they feel the need to "balance" it out with the flying monkey right that comes on after.

They have had Drudge on before, and other members of the flying monkey right, but never Mike Malloy or Bernie Ward. There is a hidden bias at Cspan.
