freepers punish Spokane reporters for AWOL story
The new AWOL information, broken so ably by two Spokane reporters, is causing freepers to call for angry attacks by phone at the newspaper.

I've alerted them about the dirty tricks of the denizens of freerepublic.com.

Drug allegations grounded Spokane Guard captains

The grounding of two Washington Air National Guard airmen in 1974 started over the length of their hair and allegations of pot smoking.

According to the Inspector General's report, Edgar and Merriman also were accused of breaching national security for confirming they were suspended under the nuclear safety regulations.

The report, with several sections deleted for national security reasons, states that the Human Reliability Program applied to all Air National Guard units in the 1970s, including the Texas Air National Guard unit where Lt. George W. Bush served from 1968 to 1973.
