Maybe Kerry can just say he wants to FINALLY implement the Gore tax cut plan that was approved by the voters in Election 2000. LOL

1. And maybe Kerry can just level with the American people and...

...tell them the truth about Bush's disastrous tax and spending plan that is bankrupting us. Come on folks, he can show the numbers, and a roll back for $200k plus earners is not going to affect the voters who count and getting the economy back on its feet as well as bringing peace works for everybody. He is a good man, he'll figure it out. The truth will set us free.O8)

2. ANY tax cut in 2000 was a mistake

While Kerry can use any number of tactics against the bogus Tax Hike charge that the GOP will use... I believe that it was foolish for EITHER Bush or Gore to push for a tax cut when we finally got to a true balanced budget... not including the Social Security finds. The grand total of that surplus was only 90 Billion total for FY99 and FY00.

Why ANYONE would have pushed for a tax cut before there was any real debt paydown is a damning indictment of BOTH parties. They also SHOULD have known that the record long expansion could not last.
