When apparently all he did was speak with them. Wow this is serious, should Kerry withdraw his nomination now? Rush did a whole show on it today and Candy is covering it on CNN now, we're toast.

Seriously, it's good news that they are using something so trivial to an attack. It belittles them, and it calls home the fact that they have nothing to run on it's fantastic.

2. to be fair
what he said:

>>> I've met <<<
>>> they look at you <<<

in all these examples. Of course they can use it to pick at him. Of course they WILL use it. He had better be careful, because you know people are going over EVERYTHING HE SAYS everyday to find things to pick out and toss to the media.

Speaking to supporters in Florida, the Massachusetts senator declared: "I've met foreign leaders who can't go out and say this publicly, but boy they look at you and say, 'You've got to win this, you've got to beat this guy, we need a new policy.' Things like that."

Mr Kerry named no names when he addressed a fundraiser in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. But said: "I've met foreign leaders who can't go out and say this publicly but, boy, they look at you and say, 'you've got to win this, you've got to beat this guy, we need a new policy.'"

3. Are there no foreign leaders in the U.S. ?
Kerry could have met some in Washington and it could have been last year also.

This is another trumped up lie by the Repubs who are trying the smear game they played on Gore but it isn't working. We've learned a thing or two.

5. I am referenceing the initial
post which says he didn't met with anyone, but spoke with them, but he said he met with them and looked at them, so, of course the difference between the 2 is going to be jumped all over by the reicht. He needs to say he only talked to them, not actually met with them if that is the story he's going with.

But saying he didn't say he met with them goes against what he said, which is he met with them.

Don't shoot the messenger.

4. Senator Kerry had a DC life before running for prez.
As such, he traveled extensively on both fact finding missions and family vacations.
Believe it or not, foreign leaders actually LIKE Senator Kerry and TALK to him directly.

6. I have a question
Could Kerry have met with these leaders when they met with the Senate?
