What movie stars would make a good Kerry VP?
Movie stars or pop-icons...Given the success of Arnold in Cali...it would seem this idea is not too far fetched.

But are there any with the "gravitas" to be the next in charge...?

1. How about Martin Sheen?
He's a progressive, activist actor! Plus "he played one on tv"....:P

17. Agreed - but on the movie star point -
haven't you ever seen Apocalypse Now? He WAS that movie - could not have cast anyone that fit the part better.

2. I've always thought Susan Sarandon should consider entering politics.
She's smart, passionate and very much a liberal. I think she would do very well.

Don't know if she's ready for VP, though.

14. I really like that idea!
First off, Clark is the best choice, IMO.

But DAMN, Clint would be AWESOME.

"Go ahead, make my day, punk."

7. Paul Newman...intelligent, articulate, has a heart instead of straw where
a heart ought to be; smart enough to know he will not know everything and to surround himself with good advisors.

9. Forest Whitaker
Edited on Mon Mar-15-04 05:53 PM by AP

Listen to this interview with Forest Whitaker (on the Tavis Smiley Show) and try to tell me that you don't think America would not be a better place if this guy were a Senator.

Tavis Smiley interviews actor, director and producer Forest Whitaker about his new movie on Showtime, Deacons for Defense. Whitaker plays the leading role in the film based on the true story of a group of black freedom fighters in the South during the 1960s.

And it would probably clinch Kerry's election. Clint Eastwood's a great choice too.
