I find it ironic

that Spain's Zapatero will trump the Bush family's Zapata oil. Maybe there is justice in the world.
We are daily bombarded by the media re: the way to "think" about terrorism. I condemn terrorism. I agree that it is an ultimately futile exercise. They will always lose as long as those who oppose terrorism actually mean what they say. Terrorism used for political purposes is an ugly thing. This administration outdid the Reagan admin support of the contras in its ugliness.

In the case of the change of leadership in Spain, it was about the lies. The last lie about ETA was too much to take, hence, the change in leadership.

In the US, we don't know up from down as the lies are flying fast and furious. We have lost our wealth and goodwill over the Iraq war, and for what??? The Iraq war is not about the war on terror, it was a convenient excuse for payback! This Bush war delayed our ability to effectively counter terrorism as we allowed them to regroup while we wasted our capital on Iraq.

The sad thing is that so many good Americans have bought in to the Bush lie out of fear and ignorance and some misguided religious fervor.

This administration has been the worst catastrophe of my lifetime!

NOW they want to go after Osama. He has had time to get his act together thanks to Bush's folly. Point this out. Bush invaded a weak, non-threat for political purposes because he is too tight with the Bin Ladens. That is the crime! He does not care about the American people. He has systematically destroyed the American dream.

Agree with you on nearly every single word.

Re: "NOW they want to go after Osama." I hate to be so cynical, but it wouldn't be b/c the French are closing in on him, huh? Sorry I can't provide link (but I'll go look for one). Saw story to that effect on CNN at work today.

3. There is a Santa, Virginia
The world would be restored to order if the French brought in Bin Laden.
Bush has some good ads and lots of bucks. Its a hard combo to beat, but I think that this silver spooner is gonna get kicked to the curb.
