John Kerry culminates Pan-Massachusetts Challenge as 37th of 3000 riders in effort to raise $16 million for cancer research - Saturday August 1, 2003.

John Kerry rode 110 miles in the Pan Massachusetts Challenge on Saturday to benefit the Jimmy Fund, which has been instrumental in improving the quality of life for cancer patients around the world.

"It was thrilling to once again join the thousands of bikers taking part in the Pan-Mass Challenge. The PMC is a national model of compassion and commitment in the fight to cure cancer. I congratulate all the organizers, volunteers, participants and all of you who took the extra step to contribute to this important cause. This was a great day for biking and a greater day for the fight against cancer." - John Kerry

3. Wow
What an athlete Kerry is! Nice to see Kerry take time off the campaign trail for a worthy cause, even against an opponent who has unlimited amounts of free time and campaigns 24/7 and is very competitive in the polls, Kerry finds the time for charity.

12. LOL
I think Kerry should run an ad that shows him riding in this event, next to a shot of Bush falling off the Segway. Hilarious.
