Look what my formerly apolitical hubby wrote!

He didn't used to pay much attention, but I've turned him around a bit. I sent him an email regarding signing a petition supporting an investigation into Bushco's Medicare lies. Well, he logged in and added the following statement with his signature...Ithink I may have created an antiBUSH monster. I'm so proud....

Below is a comment I added to my petition comment. It started out as just a few lines... but then it kept mutating and growing and mutating again. When I was able to finally beat the beast back into the box, I was left with this tirade...

I'd truly like to see the WMD IN the white house defused once and for all!!!

Never before has 1 man been involved in or responsible for destruction on such a global scale...

-Record setting rates of job loss and unemployment in a single administration

-Record setting demands being made on those with fixed incomes

-Record setting numbers of misled misinformed patriotic sons and daughters used as pawns to fight a dishonorable and illegal for-profit war

-Record setting numbers of soldiers rewarded with equally record setting cuts in pay, benefits and even equipment

-Record numbers of injured and casualties being denied the decency of official acknowledgement not for the sake of national security, but sake of keeping up appearances

-Record setting setbacks in global social progress

-Record setting balls in telling the UN to go to hell

-Record setting adoption of the OPS (Ostrich Problem Solving) system... if you can't see a problem, it doesn't exist

-Record setting numbers of illegal arrests and detentions

-Record setting displays of megalomania and equally record setting numbers of people accepting said megalomania as fine and dandy

-Record acres of nationally protected and reserved land being sold to the highest bidder

-Record setting levels of stupidity in denying scientific achievements, cutting support to essential endeavors and discouraging any new efforts which won't line the pockets of the purse holders

-Record setting decrease in response times between the string pulling corporate puppeteers tugging a string, and the inevitable and consequent mindless response by the government-for-hire puppets

And the record setting list of destruction goes on and on for, you guessed it, a record setting number of pages.

This government of the greedy, for the greedy and by the greedy is responsible for inflicting more damage on this planet and its people, than can be repaired in our lifetimes, or our children’s' lifetimes or our children’s children’s lifetimes.

The further advancement of this rot causing infection known as the current administration MUST be halted, the damage repaired and the cause sterilized.

As many have said before, we cannot afford 4 more years of the reign of the evil empire.

Ummm, I think my soapbox time is more than up so I'll just step down here and uh... Next!
