Question Bush about HIS statements re: foreign policy - FIGHT BACK
"I think Russia has stepped over the bounds. I think the idea of bombing innocent Russian women and children has stepped over the bounds of international norms.

Plus there are over 200,000 refugees as a result of their 'dealing' with terrorism." - Bush, 1999 BBC Interview

____

"American foreign policy cannot be founded on fear." Bush - November 19. 1999
_____

"If I am president, China will know that America’s values are always part of America’s agenda. Our advocacy of human freedom is not a formality of diplomacy, it is a fundamental commitment of our country. " - Bush, November 19, 1999

______

"But our military requires more than good treatment. It needs the rallying point of a defining mission. And that mission is to deter wars, and win wars when deterrence fails. Sending our military on vague, aimless and endless deployments is the swift solvent of morale." - Bush, September 1999
_____

Interview with WHDH in Boston, 1999:

ANDY HILLER (reporter, WHDH-TV, Boston): Name the president of Chechnya.

GOV. GEORGE W. BUSH (R-TX): No. Can you?

MR. HILLER: Name the president of Taiwan.

GOV. BUSH: Yeah, Lee.

MR. HILLER: Can you name the general who is in charge in Pakistan?

GOV. BUSH: Is this a 50-questions?

MR. HILLER: No. It's four questions of four leaders in four hot spots.

GOV. BUSH: The new Pakistani general has just been elected. He is a -- not elected -- this guy took over office. He appears he's going to bring stability to the country, and I think that's good news.

MR. HILLER: And the prime minister of India?

GOV. BUSH: The new prime minister of India is -- ah, no.

GOV. BUSH: Can you name the foreign minister of Mexico?
MR. HILLER: No sir, but I would say to that I'm not running for president.

GOV. BUSH: I understand. But the point is, if what you're suggesting is...What I'm suggesting to you is that if you can't name the foreign minister of Mexico, therefore you're not capable of what you do, but the truth is you are...whether you can or not."

1. Unbelievable
I don't know why this didn't get more attention in 2000. It clearly shows the petulance and stupidity of the chimp.

He couldn't even be honest about his ignorance - instead he tried to blame Hiller and turn the questions back on the interviewer.
