Hot off the presses: "The New Pearl Harbor" by David Ray Griffin
Subtitled "Disturbing Questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11."

Just dropped at my door from Amazon. Barely cracked the cover, but his acknowledgments has a nice namecheck for DU's own Paul Thompson. ("Without the work of Nafeez Ahmed (author of "The War on Freedom") and Paul Thompson, this book would not have even begun....")

More than a dozen great blurbs, too, from figures unassociated with that which some sniff at as "tinfoil." From Richard Falk: "an extraordinary book... It is rare, indeed, that a book has this potential to become a force of history." And Howard Zinn: "The most persuasive argument I have seen for further investigation of the Bush administration's relationship to that historic and troubling event."

But this one is the most powerful: "It will be painful, and disturbing, to turn the pages of this thoughtful and meticulously researched book. But turn we must. For we owe the truth to those who died, and nothing less." - Colleen Kelly, whose brother was killed in the North Tower, co-founder of September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows.

Hold my calls....

3. Reading from Griffin's introduction,
he says part of his purpose is to bring the work of Paul Thompson to a broader American audience.
