Cheney tells Kerry to name names.........oh! the irony
Can you believe the nerve of Cheney to tell Kerry to name names. He is one ballsy dick. Or maybe just arrogant and stoopid.

2. I just love this
Kerry has been given so many opportunities for great comebacks to these idiots. Yeah, sure dick, as soon as you reveal the names of the energy representatives you secretly met with.

5. This really is a sign of desperation on the repugs part..
desperately trying to latch onto anything other than their record to talk about.

And the hypocrisy of accusing someone else of making things up?

8. I believe it--
that has been the way of the Bush administration from day one and before. Take the school yard bully initiative and intimidate others with this bold intitiative. It is supposed to make them back down. They do not care if anyone hates them as long as this approach works. It seems it has worked for Cheney and Bush--re the energy meetings, the 911 investigations, the anthax investigations a slew of other things they want to keep secret. It make you seem as though you are in charge and fearsome at the same time.

10. Y'know, even if it WAS "foreign leaders", not "more leaders"....
...the arrogant * pricks would rather have those leaders compromised domestically and internationally by a Kerry disclosure. Never mind any complications that would ensue.

Yeah - they want what's right for America :eyes:

Kerry should tell them it was Blair and Howard.

16. Late Night's take this issue. The White House is delusional
Edited on Tue Mar-16-04 07:25 PM by LiviaOlivia
CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman":

"John Kerry says that foreign leaders want him to be president, but that he can't name the foreign leaders. That's all right, President Bush can't name them either."

NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno":

"John Kerry is claiming that leaders of other countries have told him they hope he defeats President Bush in November. President Bush is now challenging John Kerry to name those foreign leaders. That's a first, Bush challenging anyone to name a foreign leader."

On edit: surprising Leno joke.

19. Bush wants the names so he knows who goes on the To Be Bombed list
Kerry is probably protecting a lot of innocent, rational thinking people.

18. " Dick, you show me your list and I'll show you mine"
on a tee shirt for Kerry.

Cheney reminds me a lot of a kid I dealt with today. Threw a 49 minute tantrum. Someone told me he does it once a week and they don't know why. I know why. He does it cuz he has always managed to get others to capitulate to his whining and then he never has to do what is expected of others. The kid is 4. I would think Dick should know better at his age.

20. SO WHERE IN THE FFFFFFF are Kerry's brainboys on this?
that's what he SHOULD HAVE SAID, rather than taking the fricking DEFENSIVE, and trying to explain himself, looking WEAK in response

is it too LATE already for him to counterattack with this, as well as the very funny lines from both Leno and Letterman, posted here already?

THAT's what he needs to have.....a wiseass brigade to respond instantaneously with humorous deflection......very hard to come back from those.

21. A past perspective for all this crap
Edited on Tue Mar-16-04 07:16 PM by motivated
I saved this offline after the selection of Bush*. Sorry, no link. Think it might be CNN.

Few European leaders have even met the governor of Texas. None of them was going to tempt providence by saying so, but most had been hoping for a Gore victory simply because many of them knew the vice president personally, they respected his knowledge of international affairs and they liked the idea of continuity.

Now they will have to get to know Bush, a man who has hardly ever travelled outside his own country.

and.....

British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be worried because he has had a particularly close relationship with Clinton. They have jointly made the case for “Third Way” politics, combining pro-business policies, tough lines on law-and-order issues and social justice measures.

Blair’s Conservative opponent, William Hague, is one of the few Europeans who has travelled to America to meet Bush. Hague openly backed Bush in the U.S. election and has openly adopted some of his programme of "compassionate Conservatism." He will be hoping for a payoff.

Perhaps Dick should go first. Name the names of world leaders who openly support you and the spoiled child you can't control that is running around destroying everything he touches.......JUST NAME ONE!!

Edit? Put bold end in wrong place.
