Left-wing or right-wing, we can all agree this is yet another act of stupidity on the part of President Shrubbypants*.

How many other Presidents have gone on vacations during times of war, oh let's forget we have that eternal "war on terror" to contend with, even though most of us know that's pretty much a farce too...

Sigh. It never ends.

3. When does he ever really work?
And even if he stayed in the WH, Bush can't do anything to stop the terrorists. He'll run and hide like a girly-man if terrorists strike again.

4. It's August ain't it?
So, what's yer beef? Our Glorious Leader <tm> needs "downtime"---how do I know that? The helpful DUers who keep us apprised of what the freeper lovers of Bush* rationalize his every action with and this time its "the burdens of leadership"

FDR in a long Depression and war did need this much "vacation" even with therapy for polio. Lincoln sure didn't have golf weekends and Camp David retreats never mind a fake ranch. Somehow, those boys got the job done. Guess they aren't giants like Our Glorious Leader---you can tell that not only from their coherency, their work ethic and vaction schedules but because they did not feel that they needed "First Amendment Zones" and staged public appearances.

I say: rip down the Lincoln Memorial and close up Hyde Park. Let's use the land and money to pay appropriate tribute to a man who understands the need to delegate the entire job to others (Rove, Cheney and a cast of unelected dozens...) and who knows when to take a break and head to the Drinkin' Shack in Waco...

5. Does Not Surprise Me...
New Terror Alert...Soldiers Dieing...Vets get snubbed...School system in the toilet...half-a-trillion dollar deficit...unemployment soaring...cover-ups...etc...etc...

Vacation Time...again...how many vacations does this make this year...?

I work my ass off 70 to 80 hours a week...I get a two week vaction once a year...

Must be nice...
