If Kerry and The Dems want to win:: They should consider the Big Picture
Edited on Wed Mar-17-04 07:12 PM by opihimoimoi
Overview is where its at.

Most of the time, The Pubs come up with some "Manini"(small) stuphs and they do it intentionally. Its a distraction. "He said this and he said that." We all see it and it works. But if we expose the weakness in this aspect in choosing a wise leader for our Nation and come up with a better approach, we got a damn good opportunity to unseat the Bush.

Kerry should consider the Big Picture, something Bush CANNOT talk about.

Bush, in a nutshell, seems inept or unable to promote:

Peace,
Comfort,
Growth,
Sharing,
Friendship,
Fiscal Responsibility,
Wise Planning,
Happiness,
Visions, the benevilent kind,
Jobs,
Investments,
Contentment,
Self Esteem, Good Will,
Fun and Enjoyment of life,
and Pride, the Inclusive Kind.

Heres a list of what seems to be his focus and direction:

Debts for others,
Fear mongering,
Conflict,
Deception,
Waste, including Time.,
Partisanship, he is no Uniter for sure.,
Vengence,
Distraction,
Confusion,
edit, Laziness(sloth), He ain't worrierd about small us, "Let them eat s."
and making C grades look like its a good thing.

And because he goes for the photo ops way overboard,

he displays signs of a person who needs them photos like real bad. IOWs, he cannot stand up unvarnished.

If Kerry starts this route, it may make a diff.

Come, we go surf.

1. I thought Clinton was really good at making us look at the big picture...
But then again I was from 2-10 years old. He Just seemed to represented so much.... so much that was good.

6. Not always...
NAFTA

DMCA

DOMA

1995 welfare 'reform'

1996 Telecom act

The firing of Jocelyn Elders, the first Surgeon General who promoted discussion amongst Americans. A true Liberal. And look what it got her...

Monica

Bosnia

Kosovo

Even Iraq, but to a much smaller extent...

8. I think that you are incorrect
Bush inherited a recession and on top of that 9-11 which destroyed a hefty part of our economy.

Debts for others? I will agree with you on this one. Govt spending is out of control. Social Security should be abolished as it is a horrible return on money. Let those who want to take responsibility for their own retirement have that money. After all, they earned it, not the government.

Fear Mongering? We get blown up by Islamic terrorists, Saddam Hussein enjoys killing his citizens, torturing people, employs rape rooms and Syria thinks the US is the great Satan because we embrace freedom yet President Bush is a fear mongerer?

Conflict? Every person deals with some conflict. Pres. Clinton embroiled himself in all kinds of conflict trying to defend himself from rape charges, screwing interns, etc.

Deception? As far as I know, Bush has laid it on the line for the American people. Clinton told the American people he did not have "sex with that woman" but he did. You can't have it both ways. Deception part II? Kerry has flip-flopped on so many issues that even now he is having a hard time straightening out his lies.

Waste? How much did the American people have to pay and lose because of Clinton's scandalous behavior? How much money did MA lose because of Ted Kennedy and his killing of Mary Joe at Chappaquiddick?

Partisanship? Let's see...17 countries united with the US to support the war with Iraq and support Israel. France (whose citizens are born with their hands up in surrender) and Germany thought that we were "overreacting" when we saw bodies falling from the twin towers. Kerry, Dean, and Kucinich have told the American people that Saddam had a right to do whatever he wanted to in his own country. In fact, there was "no evidence" that he did bad things to his people. How about that for one's head being stuck in the sand?

Vengeance and Distraction? No, don't think so at all.

Confusion? How confused is Kerry now that he is caught up in his lies, exaggerations, and half-truths?

"He ain't worried about small us"? Oh, this must be about the tax cut thing huh? Well, lets see...Typically, those earning less than 20k per year pay no federal income taxes. Well, you do but you get what you pay in back at the end of the year and usually more so. Rich people (what is wrong with working hard and earning a good income?) those who earn $200K per year or more pay, get this, 53% of all income taxes for the US. Yep, 3% of all US citizens pay more than half of the income taxes for the US. Shouldn't those people who pay income taxes get the breaks? Dems always talk about being fair...this is fair. Oh, less you burst a vein, Social Security taxes are not federal income taxes. It is an "investment". Some investment.

Making "C" grades look like a good thing. It is quite remarkable that anyone in this country who works hard, gets educated, and relies on him or herself can become President. Why so much hatred and jealousy? It amazes me that Dems call themselves the compassionate bunch yet they go around hating so much. That in itself is interesting.

By the way, in case the reader think that I am a Bush kool-aid drinker like Clinton followers, I am not.

I believe that there should be a federal law allowing gay and lesbians to get married. I do not think that Roe vs Wade should be messed with (even though the case was mishandled horribly) and I think that "in God we trust" should be sandblasted from every public building and our money printed without it. Guess that rules me out as a Republican zealot huh?

Get a life Dems. Quit hating so much and stop trying to make this country into a Socialist country. Trust me, you will not like it. Well, lazy people do enjoy having the government do everything for them so maybe the reader would not mind the Socialist United States.

9. A very good spin answer but I stand by my big picture. Bush and the Pubs
are bad for America and her future.
