When Cheney tells us who helped him draft the energy policy.

1. And when they name who blew Valerie Plame's cover
And what was in the President's Aug. 6th, 2001 intelligence briefing.

2. LOL
Wish Kerry would respond as such.

We'd never hear another word about it.

5. Was it "more leaders" or "foreign leaders"?
I wouldn't really be surprised if it was the former because the reporter had already made one mistake transcribing that speech.

Although, I do like this:

6. It was “more“ leaders.
Which is a hell of lot different from “foreign” leaders, but even though the correction was reported two or three days ago, the Republicans and the press didn’t get the word.

The one very true thing Kerry has said to-date, “"These guys are the most crooked, you know, lying group I've ever seen,"

10. "more" leaders
I love the photo/cartoon! Of course, Blair's days in office are probably numbered, too.

8. Not if he met them on his own time
It's none of our business otherwise. Only if he was on duty and serving us would we be due the information. Senators have their own free time too and if he did meet with anyone I'm certain it was on his own time.

13. Kerry should say he won't betray the trust of others.
Unlike some people we know.

14. It's best for Kerry if it dies...
because it's a no-win situation.

If he doesn't name anyone, the Repugs will ask questions like "...is it ???? (insert dictator du jour).

If he does name someone, he'll be criticized for paying more attention to them than his fellow Americans.

I know, he said "more," not "foreign." I've heard the tape and it's clear both what he said and what the context was. If he tries to spin out of it on that distinction it will look bad. Time for a vacation.

Let others attack the attackers and hope it blows over. BTW, what was he thinking when he said that? True or not, it's better left unsaid. You might say that he thought he was off the mic and among friends but even fellow travelers can't resist a good story.

Oh well, just be thankful it didn't happen in October.
