Extended Lieberman on local radio today - what should I call in?
On local talk radio today here in Hartford, I believe CT Senator Joe Lieberman will be in for an extended sit down on WTIC AM 1080 with the fairly liberal hosts Colin McEnroe & Bruce Stevens. Their show runs 3-6pm and I'm not sure what time Lieberman will be on, but I'm debating what I should say if I have time to call in -

1) Joe, the problem with your candidacy was that Democrats didn't like you spouting off Republican talking points on Iraq. Prior to the war, Paul Wolfowitz said that Saddam's human rights violations alone were not reason enough to invade Iraq and Dick Cheney, Condileeza (sp?) Rice and Colin Powell all said at various times in 2001 that the threat of Saddam was contained so well he was not even a threat to his neighbors, let alone the United States.

2) Joe - the Republicans are doing a pretty effective job at painting John Kerry as flip-flopping on some issues in his 2 decades in the Senate. Why aren't Democrats firing back with all the Bush flip-flops in his 4 years as a candidate and President?

1. Joe, why haven't you switched parties yet and
don't you experience any cognitive dissonance at all when you open your mouth?

2. Ask him who he plans to endorse. Kerry or bush?
Since he's been so silent on the subject. x(

5. Ask him to endorse Kerry
we need his centrist supporters to vote for Kerry. Yes he has a conservative stance on Iraq but on most issues, he is still a good Democrat.

my 2 cents
