First, you need to check your tv settings to make sure the closed captions come on when the sound is muted. Then mute the sound when Shrub is speaking on his campaign ad. His speech is so poor the captioning can't make out half the words!

This happens some with reporters when they are talking too fast, but it is usually over larger words, and the CC usually corrects itself as it runs along, looking to place words in context. CC typed "siors" for seniors, etc. You'd think the CC would be automatically programed into the ad.

Good for a quick laugh!

1. I never watch Dubya with the sound on.
His lying nature comes through clearer with the sound off. But the CC idea sounds good.

Of course, I also try to not watch Dubya very much at all.
