FCC crackdown against Bu$h dissenters on radio. HAMS NEXT?
CQ CQ CQ

Could we be in trouble? I think so. I've never talked politics on the air, but my name and call-sign is a matter of record. They would need proof, but that could be manufactured.

1. What I want to know is, how the indecent can recognize indecency
These greedy, lying thieves wouldn't know decency if it slapped them in the face. Michael Powell, should burn in hell with Bush for what he is doing to our democracy (and these are the only two people on earth I wish that fate upon).

5. Dunno, Mac...
I'm not active anymore. I have NOTHING to to talk to the ditto-head Geezers on 75 about, and I'd be embarrased to work a DX station.

Besides, the sunspots have taken a shit, and nothing shorter than 40's open most days.

I have my International Association of Airline Hams on 14.28 mHz on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I can barely hear anyone on the net. Even with a perfectly cut dipole for 14.28 (near zero SWR at without a tuner). QRM from South America is a problem, too. Not their fault. Just propagation problems.

On edit: I don't even tune 40 or 75 any more. Like you said, too Dittohead. And, by-the-way, where is Michael Powell on the total trash on 40/75 late in the day? Especially that coming from Texas!

7. I've shelved plans to get a ham license.....after listening in on
SSB for the last year, I've found that most of them aren't saying anything very interesting....they talk about rigs, or small talk....and what political talk I've heard is rather, er,...unsophisticated.

Figure it's not worth the money and time, so I'm sticking with just listening in on SSB when I can't get anything on SW....
