George W. Bush is not only not a good Republican, but he hasn’t been a good president. President Ronald Reagan said, "Trust but verify." President George W. Bush started a war based on, at best, a one-sided reading of badly flawed intelligence. Doesn’t the president owe it to the American people to check his facts before starting a war?

1. good to see there

is hope for the Republican party. I truly hope there are many more Republicans like this gentleman who actually think for themselves, look at the decisions made by this president in a critical manner and make his/her own mind up instead of going lock step with the Shrub & Co.

2. No big deal... yet.

If we get the likes of Lincoln Chaffee or some other prominent Republican joining such a movement, then at least we can say "in your face, Zell!" But until then, we should care more about pulling people to the Kerry boat rather than Republicans.

7. Not Really

You are right about us having to pull people to Kerry. However, we do not really need Lincoln Chaffee to join our movement. I think it is better that people are willing to vote against Bush without one of their leaders telling them to do so. Sometimes leadership starts from the bottom. It is good to see that some people can look beyond partisan politics and do what is best for the country. I do hope that Kerry will do something for the conservatives who vote for him. I am not saying that he should outlaw gay marriages, but he should now at least listen to their concerns if he is elected. He should at least try to cut some of the spending.

6. Vets AGAINST kerry

there is such a website.....
When i went to it though it was no substance just blather about how navy guys made NO sacrifices in Vietnam.... excuse me.... but i saw "apocalypse now"

A friend of mine from work claims to be a republican, and voted for Bush last time, after listening to me for a while he now claims he will vote for Kerry. :headbang:
