Is this another lie to add to the list? (Saddam's genocide)
"The report touched on the Halabja deaths, saying that “hundreds” of civilians had died, with indications they were killed by a cyanide gas known to be used by the Iranian army, not possessed by Iraq."

1. Oh Well...
If they lied about it no big surprise. Bush always lies. But as far as genocide goes...Sadaam attempted it against the Kurds. He brutally murdered thousands. So, if I'm gonna give the Bushwads, et al. a pass on a lie...I'll pick this one.

2. This IS the Kurdish massacre they're talking about.
Iran's gas killed the Kurds.

3. Colin Powell
As I recall, at the time, Colin Powell blamed this attack on the Iranians. But, of course, that was back before the first Gulf War, and before General Powell SOLD OUT.

4. That Was Also Back When
Iraq was our friend and ally, in the Iran-Iraq War.

5. It was NEVER fully clear who was responsible
Unless you want to blame the Reagan administration, seeing as we armed both Iran and Iraq during the war.

6. this allegation is ridiculous
The Anfal campaign was most certainly active at the time, and was not entirely some hoax. The area hit by poison gasses was in open revolt against the Iraqi state (as it had been on and off for decades, centuries if it is replaced with the Uthmani Khilafah as being what is in uprising against), and was loosely allied with Tehran. Why would they hit their allies?

The source of this claim is the Reagan-Bush regime and their "intelligence" services. Iraq was their puppet and proxy hammer at the time, backed by all of America's lackeys, and the Islamic Republic of Iran the enemy--they have a very good reason to lie on such matters. Passing on these lies now just distorts the issue and is little more than lies to say that the "genocide" claims (a bit distorted in their own right, to be sure, and most certainly taken and raped by the imperialist propaganda machine that gave the world this invasion and occupation) are "just another lie".

Powell was always a sellout.
