Its not that they are not dying either. They have just quit reporting it. CNN and MSNBC never mention the deaths any more. Must be bad for the Crackhead In Chief to have soldiers dying a year after the war began and so close to an election so they no longer have time to report what they were reporting regularly just a few days ago. Got to get Chimp boys numbers back up.

1. Pretty sad isn't it?
Reminds me of the attempted coup of Clinton when the talking heads were out for the president with their pitchforks, and nothing was more important in the entire world than an act of fellatio between consenting adults.

Now its protect the Pretzledent at any costs. Hide the dead and wounded, make up stories about anything, anything but Americans and Iraqis being killed in this oil invasion.

Will Iraqi veterans be out in the streets as in Vietnam days when they are discharged to focus attention on this bloodbath the media is hiding?

2. Why, just yesterday, Matt Lauer said that every soldiers death
made MAJOR headlines but the good thangs go unnoticed.
:eyes:

Can't remember if he said it before or after the ten minutes spent on Michael Jackson's upcoming court case.

4. My neighbor is a full bird colonel at the pentagon--he says that
the death counts are accurate aside from CIA paramilitaries and Delta Force but that the real scandal is that the very severe injuries go totally unreported--19 year olds facing a lifetime as quadriplegics, faces disfigured beyond recognition because of burns, soldiers in persistent vegetative states, permanent brain damage leaving them unable to speak, total blindness, etc. They just get lumped in with people who sprain an ankle getting out of a truck and reporters are never given access to either the injury breakdown data or the injured soldiers.

"The public affairs folks draw the line at lost limbs." were his exact words.

Not one description of any of these boys and girls has appeared in a single news report.

5. today Bush does photo-op at hospitals - but again avoids bodies
in the ground and those with body parts or faces missing.

He is a war time leader - does not lose sight on his priorities.
