www.WorldNetDaily and the Moonies
Right wingers often quote from the website www.worldnetdaily.com.

Here's some information about connections between that website and the Moonies of Sun Myung Moon of the Unification Church cult:

Here's an interesting article about long-time connections between George H.W. Bush and Moon. The article describes how Bush was a paid lobbyist for Moon in business deals in Latin America. As described in that article, Moon's Washington Times newspaper also liked to attack John Kerry when he was conducting Congressional investigations.

1. The Moonie Times was "Reagan's favorite paper" !
The Moonie connection is so good for making the Repubs seem flaky to typical people. I would think the connection would be tossed around and thus better known, as in "Go read the Moonies, you nut!", or "Sorry, I don't depend on the Moonies for my news!".
