Anyhow, Chris was asking him about al-Zawahiri and he implied that Musharraf was basically putting on a show for Colin Powell. He said that he will believe it when he sees al-Zawahiri captured.

The only 'evidence' I have heard of at all is that the tribal fighters are fighting back 'ferociously'. They are saying that this leads them to believe that someone important was there. They said, surprisingly conclusively, yesterday that it wasn't bin Laden, so I think they came up with al-Zawahiri just through the process of elimination.

The area where the Pakistanis have closed off is 19 square miles. It's several villages, and many have fled the fighting as refugees.

If you ask me, it's more likely the start of a civil war in Pakistan (or a war between 'Pashtustan' and Pakistan).
