4. We didn't meet our objectives
Ousting Saddam is no mean feat but it was not our stated primary objective.

The blundering and expensive manner, financially and in human terms, in which we achieved our secondary goal is nothing for this president to brag about. The assets we've expended, tangible and intangible, and will continue to expend could have worked worlds of wonder in improving the human condition at home and abroad.

Our underfunded domestic security is but one victim of the collateral damage from this war. Even if by providence our nation is spared another major tragedy we still will have borne the burden of living with the knowledge that our nearly bankrupt government can't afford to properly protect us from the menace of terrorist attacks.

And these terrorists go on existing in large part because our military and intelligence resources have been stretched so very thin due to the war in Iraq.

This administration spurns the notion of accountability and shows little desire to learn from its mistakes.

"Reality is that which when you stop believing in it... doesn't go away."
