Coloikn Powell to resign as secretary of state in January?

2005. Although I don't have a link to this ABC News this morning (overnight) is reporting this. They say that Powell promised his wife he would only serve this post for only one term.

ABC also says sources tell them there are two names tapped to replace Powell as SoS: Conzi Rice and Paul Wolfowitz.

that much more important. The only voice of reason in the administration gone.

2. Colin Powell must be just burned out.

He has probably had it with the lies of Bush and his handlers. He must have some conscience. I wonder if this will affect Bush's chances of winning another four years? One must wonder if this has anything to do with the Bush and Co. lies about Iraq and the mishandling of 9/11?
