Should it be so difficult to get to the simple truth ?

Unless there is something to hide, it should be a rather simple task.
Did they or did they not focus primarily on Iraq, rather than al Qaeda, when they took over the White House? Did they really have plans on invading Iraq from the very beginning? Why can we not know who was in the Cheney energy meetings? Who and why did the bin Laden fly out of this country when no one else could get on a plane? Was George W Bush warned about an imminent attack by al Qaeda and did he ignore it? Why can we not get answers to these simple questions? And why cannot the press pursue them until they do get some answers? Is that too much to ask??

For instance, when there was a scandal involving the White House travel office (Whoopdeedoo!) all the records were impounded.

This Al Queda and Iraq stuff is much more important, not to mention the Energy Task Force and the Valerie Plame business.

Why aren't their boxes of records on these, and why aren't they made available?
