I bet those freepers already tried to change the poll.

And still: 76% say that Bush was focused on Iraq instead of OBL.

There is hope out there!

If one supports Bush, one may:
  1. Buy the horsepucky that Saddam and al Qaida were linked, meaning that the invasion did something to weaken al Qaida;
  2. Consider the invasion a positive thing in itself, regardless of Saddam's associations with terrorism or the absense of such associations.
Those of us who oppose the war universally reject the Saddam-al Qaida connection; it is an established fact that there was no such association. In any case, it should be obvious by now that invading Iraq did nothing to weaken al Qaida.

Furthermore, we may have many reasons for opposing the invasion, but the one that is probably most often mentioned is that it took resources away from the fight against al Qaida when a concentrated effort to destroy al Qaida was the order of the day. The war didn't make Americans safer and probably put Americans is greater danger.

13. And with all the lies that have come out about the Chimp administration
this week, the 'liberal media' is still talking about KERRY's bad week and how Chimpy rebounded...:wtf:
What the hell is with people???
This question was the biggest no-brainer, hard to believe that ANYONE would answer "no"

15. What exactly are we suppose to gather from this poll ...
Edited on Mon Mar-22-04 10:28 AM by Drifter
Just because anyone feels that AWOL is more focused on Iraq, doesn't mean they think it is wrong.

I'll bet more than half the people who voted YES did so because they feel that AWOL should focus more on Iraq (incorrectly assuming that Iraq IS the war on Terror).

I personally think AWOL is more focused on Oil Profits, and Iraq (via the War on Terror) is central to that goal.

Cheers
Drifter
