Cspan questioner asks: if a plane deviates from flight plan and cant or wont respond to towers for x number of times (didnt catch the number) an automatic emergency plan is put into operation. Not on that day.
Also, the whitewater investigation committee had a budget of over 50 million; this 9/11 commission has 2 million!!!!!!

Payne Stewart's plane was intercepted a few minutes after it was lost, except it might have been in different time zones so it was an hour and a few minutes. Still not reason enough that fighters set in training did not go up, and those that did traveled too slowly.

Whitewater and associated investigations spent closer to 100 million that I recall. The price kept going up. The subpoenaed persons had to pay for their own lawyers until they were no longer needed. So the bills still kept coming for some time.

The 9/11 commission received more funding. Initially it was 2 million. Why was it designed to be partisan requiring 60% approval to subpoena, or 6 people, yet the president only wants to talk to two people.

These people are only transparent from 27,500 miles.
