Wasn't it founded to make sure that the MAJORITY doesn't trounce on the MINORITY for the sake of fairness.

Gays and Lesbians are a minority. The "Majority" is using GOVERNMENT to beat them out of civilization. Isn't the government supposed to PROTECT the MINORITIES RIGHTS?

What is going on. That means that all of that crap they teach in history class is that...CRAP. Whenever some MASS hysteria comes about and sweeps up the Majority then the minoroity must either fall in line or be DAMNED?

It appears that people have forgotten what the role of government is in our society.

Government is to PROTECT rights not eliminate them for some while strengthening for others.

I don't understand why the government is standing in the way of people getting married. I thought the government and church were suppose to be separate to a certain degree. I may be confused. If someone wants to get married let them. The government has rarely watched out for the minority except on paper and when it would get them a vote.
