That's the issue. I realize that gay marriage is not recognized everywhere in this country, but if she were a single heterosexual living with her boyfriend, she still would not have a loan. I think you could have chosen your words more carefully.

If she applied for the loan just as an individual, it would have gone through (provided she had the down payment). VERY misleading title indeed.
