Both refer to the mission accomplished stunt and express a similar idea, namely, that Bush chooses ridiculous costumes instead of doing what needs to be done. "Bunnypants" is a much goofier image imo, almost endearing, and irrevocably unpresidential.

14. In Michael Moore's London show

last year he had a big pic of bush on one side of the stage, a pic of Blair on the other and Osama between. To open the show he said let's introduce our cast of characters. Pointed at bush and said this is "dumber than shit" and over here, pointing at Blair, "this is buffuing(sp) dumber than shit". Priceless!
