will the bushies brief president kerry on all the bush secrets?
the bush administration certainly has a penchant for secrecy and stonewalling. they don't tell anyone anything unless it serves them politically.

we here at du seem to oppose this to a man. or woman. or dingbat. nevertheless, one can certainly have an opinion about presidential secrecy and republicans have an arguable point that perhaps the united states is in some cases better served by permitting the president to keep certain secrets.

however, once president kerry is elected, there is NO POSSIBLE RATIONALE by which the UNITED STATES is better off if the new president doesn't know these secrets. at that point, not telling the president-elect could ONLY serve narrow political or personal self-preservation motives. there is absolutely no way you can reasonably hold that the incoming president can serve the country better by being in the dark as to what the previous administration was up to.

so, what do you think will happen?

will kerry be told some nasty bush secrets?
will kerry then reveal anything to the nation?
will kerry then reveal anything to the appropriate law enforcement officials?
will the bushies maintain their silence even toward the president-elect?
will the media support this obviously insanely unpatriotic act of silence?

what do YOU think will happen?

1. There's still too much time before the election.
Who knows what Rove has up his sleeves.

3. it's ok, you can assume kerry wins and take it from there
what happens after the election, during the transition.

just assume the supreme court doesn't overturn the election this time.

4. these people do whatever they can get away with
so if that answers your question ....

they'll cover their ass.

And they'll sabotage Kerry.

And the media will have their heads so far up their asses they won't know.

5. Surely, you are joking..

IF, and it's still a big "if", IF Kerry is elected, then I fully expect Chimpco to behave in a spiteful, childish way about any transition.

They'll pardon everyone they can think of, burn the files and probably plant plenty of little administrative time bombs.

6. i disagree completely
there WILL be a transition, which will consist of only as much unimportant truth necessary to make the disinformation sound plausible....

7. I doubt it
They love their secrets. Wanna bet that even if Kerry's elected, they STILL find a way to keep all the Reagan files sealed?

9. right, and then, their rationale for having declared the emergency
would be that kerry was shot....

10. Are you kidding? They'll probably take the curtains and...
...wallpaper when they leave, and have the placed sanitized by people wearing sterile Tyvek suits.... Kerry will be hard pressed to find a shred of information about ANYTHING Bushco has done in office. Too much evidence to conceal!

11. Bush 1 left no information for Clinton when he was elected.
Zero. Zilch. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of Bush 1 and his people at all.

So I would expect no less from Baby Chimp and his handlers.
