I am going to be violently upset if al qeda strikes the US in the coming months and mass casualties occur. The blood of the victims will be on GW's hands.
All the resources have been diverted to Iraq, giving al qeda over one year to plot and scheme against us. All because of a childish obsession Bush had over SH.
Surely the media will not drop to their knees once again for dubya. Surely not.

8. Not after 3 1/2 years...they will blame it on someone else,
just to get by to the election...a good one would be Iraqi insurgents ("loyal to Hussein") and the CIA would probably accept the blame. (Anything to get Bush elected). That would be their ONLY hope.

I don't think they will try (though many in the media will) blame Clinton, it wouldn't sway anyone, but the already blind republican sheep.

Rove knows that.

if there's another large attack he's gone, cries of "impeachment!" would fill the land. People are already beginning to see 9-11 as a failure on the part of this admin.

One more Al QAEDA, or AL QAIDA attack would make them look like blithering, incompetent nitwits with their thumbs up their collective ass.

Would likely damage the Republican party for decades.

3. Dragging their feet on 9/11 investigation would come back to
haunt them in spades. People would wonder if Bush wasn't working for AQ because of his stonewalling of the 9/11 investigation. It would be the proverbial last straw, I think.

5. I'm sorry, but no matter how much we despise the shrub...
...this isn't strictly true. Yes, he has done MUCH to aggrevate the situation, but al Qaeda is part of the toxic legacy of U.S. foreign policy during the last thirty years. Dumbya has thrown gasoline on the fire, but he didn't light it. Look to our own standard of living-- and the international exploitation that has propped it up-- and the misplaced embrace of every despot who incidentally served Washington's interests-- for the real reasons. Democratic administrations bear as much of the shame for this as republicans.

6. Bush isn't just a president, though.
He's perfectly representative of a group of cold, selfish people with no regard for humanity, who have most of the money in our country, lie to us, and tell us what to think, buy and consume. You're right- this is years coming, but the Bush's, and many others, certainly have their share of the responsibility.
