Is THE leading introduction to the Clarke story on NBC, ABC and the rest. It implies that Bush is under attack when he's not. They show excerpts of Cheney and Condor without questioning or broadcasting anything Clarke said. When Clinton was under attack, NO new outlet broadcast such favorable leads.

I know this is a rhetorical question. But I get so tired of the spin. I'm dizzy. I think I'll go lie down now.

I notice a couple days ago on the AP wire this headline:

It turns out the left gained a whole lot more than the right, but unless you made it to the third paragraph, you'd never know.

5. At least the story is not about an attack on Kerry

The WH is so busy defending itself it doesn't have time to attack Kerry. I like that aspect of this. If we could keep this up all summer it would be great!

6. I think it is falling flat. A lot of people just plain ain't buying this

shit anymore. Too many Republicans are becoming skeptical of the Gang in Chief. Sure, very few True Believers will change their minds because of Clarke. But the era when Bush had across the board hup-to obedience is over.
