And so will the Repukes in Congress who defend him. When it is all so indefensible.

Rats jumping overboard. I love the sound of panic in the morning.

Remember, he lied to Congress (including Repubs) about the cost of Medicare. By $150 billion. And they were forced, kicking and screaming, to vote for the bill. Now these Repukes have to answer to their constituents. They will not like what they are going to hear.

McCain sent a signal when he said he would consider the Kerry VP slot. He was telling the Repukes that the game was over. Why spend good money after bad?

See where Bushie is tonight? He is wobbling against the ropes. Imagine one month from now - down for the count.

By the summer, out cold.

1. Good call on the McCain thing.
I can see that - he might be one of the only ones to take that first step, and now that he opened the door, more can walk through.

2. Don't forget about Plame and Clarke
Plame is going to bubble back up to the surface again, and hopefully refresh the sheeple's memories a little bit.

And Clarke is just getting started. I have a feeling that he is going to continue to make shrub look really bad during the 9/11 hearings.

And the 9/11 hearings WILL receive media attention. They will be ripe for sensationalism, and I hope we all know how much the media likes that.

I'm gonna sleep well tonight.

4. Don't get too enthisiastic yet
While it's nice to see the shrubber reeling, don't count him out yet. The worst thing we can do is assume he's done. He was wayyyyy behind to Gore and won. He never should have beaten Ann Richards. He has an uncanny knack for survival. We have to keep him focused on the issues, jobs, the economy, health care, etc. Don't let him steal our thunder.

6. He lost to Gore. By at least 540,000 votes and 100,000 more stolen

in Florida.

I do not fear Bush. I fear Diebold and the Repuke media pollsters stealing it for him.

Bush loses in a landslide - in a fair election.

11. But under personal pressure
he is absolutely craven. That does not count 911 where he knew how to keep on agenda and see "the bright side". It was a gift and he knew it. But when Gore challenged the election he nearly lost it. And that was a small crunch point. Keeping up constant and escalating pressure for months will literally take him out.

Expect a retreat no matter what to vacation land. Watch for facial wounds, meanderings, bloopers, dry drunk rage and belligerence, gratuitous absurdity and snide antagonism to one and all.

Also, Rove could conceivably be taken out by the Plame scandal. His hitman is so visible and compromised he should have been replaced long ago, but this gang has no flexibility whatsoever. Bush's hope is in fact an actual liability he cannot face. the expectation of dirt and fraud opposed to his phony patriotic veneer.

5. No Rove is a master at distortion, gimmicks, lies and smears...they have

so much planned..they only need to convince 5% more voters that they found (planted) WMD, got Osama, fear is in your backyard, and Bush is tough on terrorist.

Kerry must hit away at that bullshit and NEVER let the people forget the lies and death's of the illegal Iraq invasion.

And let's never stop thinking about the electon being stolen (again) via electronic voting machines (BBV).

8. bush's cowboy gun is almost empty
sure they will continue to try and smear kerry, but that only goes so far and people will tune out because they will look at the messenger. I believe bush's credibility has been damaged and in the coming weeks the polls will show it, the only thing they can hope for is a kerry screw-up or a mud-slinging battle of attrition which i think rove & comp. will resort to if the damage is confirmed by the polls.

9. I have a question for those making these statements:
Have you ever watched those commercials for "weight loss" pills, like the ones who say: "if you only want to lose 10 pounds, this is NOT for you." Ya know the ones, they sell ground up sawdust in capsules for $150? Do you ever wonder why they are on fifty times a day, and the guy selling the crap keeps paying for the ad? And a few years later, he'll be arrested in his sixty zillion dollar mansion in Palm Beach for some kinda drug fraud?

Well, guess what? Advertising works. It not only works, it is successful beyond belief. It can get at least half the morons in this country to swallow any lie with a big stupid smile on their faces.

So damnit, let's just hold off on the celebrations for a couple of months, because with $175 million in advertising, George Fucking Bush will soon become considered the Second Coming of Jesus Christ amongst the great unwashed of this country.

Okay?

:argh:

13. a voice of reason
I'm a pessimist at heart (comes from growin up in New England surrounded by Red Sox fans...)

I'm waiting for a series of October surprises - bin Laden defrosted from his carbonite; planted WMD found too late to dispute the facts; and a terror attack in the US to make people rally 'round the War President.
